Mediation
Background and training
I am a trained mediator. My mediation interest and journey stems from my extensive work at the interaction of the criminal legal system and my firm belief in restorative justice and accessibility of services. In addition, my interest stems from my own experience navigating divorce. Even as a lawyer, I knew that I didn’t want to have to navigate the harsh back and forth of litigation but would rather negotiate and come to terms that best served my family. I am an empathetic and values driven mediator, who is deeply
committed to helping you find a mutually valuable and agreed upon solution to your the issues you are facing. I have been privileged to have completed thrfollowing trainings:
-
The Higginbothom fellowship through the American Arbitration Association (https://www.adr.org/higginbothamfellowsprogram).the 40 hour training through Mediate University (https://www.mediateuniversity.com/) (2023)
-
the appellate mediation training through the 6th District Court of Appeals (2024).
