Policy Expertise

I have over 10 years of experience across various roles developing and implementing innovative policy proposals. I have served as a clinical professor training Berkeley Law Students, as the Manager of the Civic Design Lab in Oakland City Hall, the Program Director for the Racial and Economic Justice Team at the ACLU of Northern California and as the Policy Advocacy Director for the Western Center on Law and Poverty.

In the roles roles, have engaged in extensive community driven work including helping to found the Debt Free Justice California Coalition, the Equal Rights for Every Neighbor Coalition and playing a substantial role in the Back on the Road Coalition.

I have expertise across various spaces including criminal law, reparations, racial justice, criminalization of poverty and various other fields.
